The Cryptonite add-on does not use any analytics or spy on your activity in any way, nor does it require you to create a user account or sign into it to use it. You can use the add-on in a completely anonymous way. If you use the Cryptonite extension you will not get targeted with any remarketing or adverts. We will not try to cross-sell other services to you. MetaCert will never share your email address with anyone for any reason, even if you provide it to us, and the Cryptonite extension does not require any registration to use it.
The Check This add-on does not use any analytics or spy on your activity in any way. We really hate that sort of thing. Like Cryptonite, you can use the Check This add-on without having to create a user account, register an email address, or sign in, so you may maintain anonymity as you browse. MetaCert will never share any personally identifiable information provided to us online.
None of the data the MetaCert Telegram Security Bot gathers in order to report on malicious resources to chat rooms and in direct messages is ever shared. The bot does record the following metrics from Telegram upon installation, including, Group Title, Usercount, Install, and Updated date; this information is used to update MetaCert’s public total user protection count. Individual details from Group Title, Usercount, Install, and Updated date metrics gathered by MetaCert are never disclosed. The bot does not log chat posts in channels, nor does it require a user’s credentials to be accessed or invited to a group by an administrator. MetaCert will never share any information you disclose to the bot in a private message or otherwise.
The MetaCert Security App for Slack requires Admin Permissions in order to provide the level of protection required of open communities in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Using OAuth scopes as part of an OAuth based installation process, Users can specify which permissions to give the App. To function properly the App needs access to content in public and private channels, content in direct messages as well as content in group messages. MetaCert will never share content monitored in public and private channels, direct messages, or group messages. MetaCert does not read any message content; the App is designed to listen out for and analyze URIs.
